DS Factor - The Final

Ted was standing in the middle of the stage and said “It’s Saturday night and we have some surprises and the two best kept secrets and it is the final of the DS Factor” the theme music started and the camera came back to Ted and he said “Welcome to the final of the DS Factor - who will win - it has been very close between Levi and D4 - you the viewers will decide, throughout the series we have had over twenty million votes and sometimes only one vote has separated the top two, not even the judges know who is going to win, and speaking of the judges lets meet them”

The music started and the judges came out on to the stage. Ted continued “Lets start left to right here’s Jenny, Zeea, Zahli and Luke” The audience cheered and clapped and the judges took their seats. Ted turned to Jenny and said “Do you think I look handsome in my tuxedo?” Jenny replied “Smart not handsome” Ted asked “Can I have a kiss - as it is the final?”





The audience began to chant “Give him a kiss, give him a kiss” Jenny said “You had better come here then” Ted quickly jumped off his box and ran to the desk, Jenny asked “Ted now stand right in front of the desk and close your eyes” Ted did what he was asked, Jenny beckoned Knasher onto the stage, and whispered something to him, Knasher nodded and bent down and picked Ted up, by now Ted wondering what was going on, opened his eyes just in time to see to big lips coming towards him and Knasher gave him a big wet slobbery kiss. The audience and Jenny roared with laughter, poor Ted was spluttering and wiping his face, Jenny giggled “You said you wanted a kiss - but you didn’t say who from” Ted replied sulkily “ You - not him”





Jenny said “Ok Knasher - can you put Ted on the desk” He did and jenny picked Ted up and gave him a big kiss, the audience cheered, Ted all starry eyed blushed and said “I will never wash my face again” Jenny said Knasher - put him back on his box - otherwise I will never get rid of him.





As Knasher carried Ted back to his box Ted looked at Jenny and said “You love me really” Jenny replied “Two words Ted - sirloin steak” Ted quickly regained his composure and Knasher put him on his box patted his head, as Knasher left the stage he winked at Ted and blew him a kiss, Ted shuddered. Jenny said “Can we get on with the show please”





Ted cleared his throat and said “Well tonight our first surprise is tonight - we have a guest judge - as it is the final, and he is Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, so everyone put your paws together” The theme music started for phantom of the opera - and Sir Andrew came out and went to Ted who said “Are you looking forward to judging the final?” Sir Andrew replied “Um yes- I am - um - I have a device (babel fish) in my ear so I can understand you - um - this is great” Ted asked Sir Andrew to take his seat with the other judges - which he did.


Ted said “Jenny - the first secret of the night - over to you” Jenny replied “Thank you Ted - We have love here, but no-one knew - I’ll let them explain - can you run the VT” Then on a big screen at the back of the stage everyone could see Little Mo and Toney faces, Little Mo said “When we applied to come on the DS Factor, I did not know that Toney was working on the show and we would get through” Toney said “I was sworn to secrecy, I told Mo that I was working on a very big show, but I never said which one” Little Mo said “When we got through, I phoned Toney to tell him and he was pleased, but he said we may have a problem” Then Toney said “I went straight to Jenny and told her and she told me that as I wasn’t one of the judges, and as long as we keep it professional - there should not be any problems” The crowd cheered and then it was back to Ted who said “As it is the final - we have a special performance - which won’t be judged - it is just for fun -here is Little Mo and Toney singing - Jason Donovan and Kylie Minogues - Especially for you” The music began and Little Mo and Toney took their place centre stage and began to sing

After the song the crowd was screaming and cheering and Toney gave Mo a kiss, Ted said “Ahhhh isn’t that sweet, now back to the final.


Well this week all the contestants went back to their home towns - lets start with Levi” Levis face appeared on the big screen and she said “When I flew home to Ireland - the airport was mobbed by fans - luckily I had Fang with me - to help me get through them, I was very excited when I saw my mum and dad and I jumped in their arms, I then saw the mayor and he congratulated me, I then sang at a very big theatre and all the fans were screaming and it was so exciting”



The camera went back to Ted and he said “We have Button over in Ireland with Levi’s fans - over to you Button” The next face on screen was Button who was being mobbed by Levi‘s fans, Ted said “Can you hear me?” Yes - Can you hear me?” shouted Button, Ted said “It looks manic over there” “Yes it is “ replied Button, “Who do you want to win?” a deafening shout of Levi came back, and Button said “Back to you Ted” Ted thanked Button and said “Now here is Levi to perform with her idols the sugerbabes the music started and Levi began to sing , then the sugerbabes came out on stage to sing with Levi

After the song Ted said “Lets see what the judges think of that” Jenny said “I loved it - excellent - well done” Zahli said “Awesome” Zeea cried “Fantastic” Sir Andrew said “You were fantastic Levi” Luke said “That was brilliant” Ted said “Right lets give it up for Levi and the sugarbabes- one more time” The audience screamed and shouted and gave them a standing ovation.


Ted said “Now lets see what happened when D4 went home” D4 appeared on the big screen, Trevor said “When the car pulled up at our house - you couldn’t even see the house for all the hundreds of fans that had gathered there, I don’t think the people of Berkshire had seen anything like it before” Molly said “Knasher helped us get through all the fans” Buster said “When we saw our mum and dad we nearly bowled them over as all of us ran to get a cuddle off them” Little Mo said “We had to do three shows, one at a shopping centre, one at a big theatre and one outside our house - it was good being back home”







Trevor said “There were so many fans outside our house, Knasher thought it would be safer going back in another way - so he made a call to Shadow, then we had to wait in the back garden” Buster said “Then a big helicopter came over and air lifted us back” Little Mo and Molly said “I think it was Shadow’s dad on the winch - he did look cold hehe - and we think it was Shadow’s mum flying the helicopter - she was very good”




Then it was back to Ted and he said “We have sent Toggle to Berkshire - Toggle are you there?” Toggle was there but you could hardly see him for the fans, Toggle said “I hope you can hear me, this theatre is jammed full with D4 fans - Ok cover your ears - crowd who do you want to win?” The crowd screamed back D4, D4, D4” Toggle shouted “Back to you Ted” Ted said “Here is D4 singing with their idols queen” the music started, queen were already on stage and D4 came out - the audience cheered and D sang their song:

The audience screamed as loud as they could after D4 had sung, Ted said “Judges - over to you” Sir Andrew said “Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic” Zeea cried “Awww pets that was excellent” Luke said “Amazing that was amazing” Zahli said “Streuth - was excellent” Jenny said “Guys you were fantastic - I loved that performance” Ted said “Lets give it up for D4 and Queen” The audience went crazy. Ted said “For the second secret - over to you Jenny” Jenny said “We have a world class singer for you now, she took a lot of persuasion to come out of retirement and she said she would only sing if she could dedicate the song to her friends at rainbow bridge - so Ted - I’ll let you introduce her” Ted said Thank you Jenny, so get your tissues ready, here she is singing there you’ll be by faith hill, the one, the only Shadow” The music started and Shadow took her place centre stage and began to sing:

After Shadow sang, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house, even Jenny had a tear rolling down her face, Ted thanked Shadow and said “Now that is what I call a world class singer, now Levi and D4 will be singing the winners single next, but before they do we are going over to Billi-B who is at the CD factory” “thanks Ted” said Billi-B “As you can see in my paws I have to cds, one is Levi’s single and the other one is D4’s, whoever wins tonight , their single will go into this machine and thousands will be shipped out to stores ready for sale in two days time, so back to you at the studio Ted” Ted said “Right now Levi will sing first then D4 and we have the welcome return of the choir pups, after both acts have sung the judges will comment, so lets hear it for Levi, so Levi sang with the choir pups - then D4 sang again with the choir pups:

The audience were clapping cheering and both D4 and Levi got standing ovations from the judges, Ted said “Judges that was the last time the acts will sing so your final comments please” Sir Andrew said “Both acts were so good there is nothing between you” Zahli said “Awesome, the viewers have a hard decision” Luke said “The other judges are right it is too close to call” Jenny said “Both acts were mind blowing - loved both versions of the song” Zeea sobbed “I agree with the others”




Ted thanked the judges and turned to the big screen and said “We are now going back to the home fans Button and then Toggle and to Billi-b at the CD factory” The screen was divided into three sections,




Then Ted said “Right the voting lines are now closed, I have the golden envelope in my paw - can call Levi and D4 back on stage please” Levi and D4 came back on stage all paw in paw, they were all nervous. “Ted asked for all quiet in the studio and said “The votes have been counted and verified - the winner of DS Factor 2009 is…..” Ted opened the envelope, Levi and D4 were shaking with nerves.



Ted took a deep breath and continued …..D4.…..” the audience cheered and screamed, D4 jumped up and down hugged Levi, and hugged Ted, they ran to the judges table jumped on it and hugged all the judges, D4 were crying with joy - more so when they see Billi-b place their new single Thank you for the music in to the cd machine and he said “Your single is now in production and is hot favourite for number one” , the home fans were screaming and poor Button was mobbed by the fans. Ted said “Here is your winner” again more cheers from the audience, Ted continued “D4 sang their new single the Abba classic Thank you for the music, all the glitter fell on them, the choir pups were singing and the rest of the acts joined D4 on stage to sing with them. Then Ted said “Congratulations to the winners of DS Factor 2009, we will be back in a years time with the winners story - until then this is Ted signing off - goodnight……….
